Netrakona Model Thana Police raided with 13 kg of ganja. A drug dealer named Kamrul Hasan (41) has been arrested.
He was arrested from Dhaka bus stand area on Sunday (April 9) night.
Officer-in-charge of Netrakona Model Police Station Khandkar Shaker Ahmed said that a team led by Model Police Station SI Abdullah Al Fahad arrested a person from the area in front of Shah Jalal Bus Stand at the Inter-District Bus Stand (Dhaka Bus Stand) at Hossainpur on Sunday around 10 pm.
Later, the travel bag with him was searched and 12 kg 800 grams of ganja was seized from five packets of polythene.
Arrested Md. Kamrul Hasan is the son of deceased Office of Mr. Uddin Bhuiyan of Monkasair village of Kasba upazila of Bramanbajita district.
In this regard, SI Abdullah Al Fahad filed a case against Kamrul Hasan, who was detained in the plaintiff's law, and sent him to the court on Monday afternoon.
