The 103rd birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children's Day were celebrated at the Islamic University (EB) in colorful celebrations. On the occasion of the day, on Friday (March 17), a colorful procession, tributes, cake cutting and painting competition were organized.
At around 10 o'clock in the morning, in front of the administration building, the balloon of joy was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Sheikh Abdus Salam. Later, from there, a colorful procession led by the Vice-Chancellor Out.Smot Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mahbubur Rahman, treasurer Professor Dr. Alamgir Hossain Bhuita, student advisor Professor Dr. Shelina Nasreen, President of the Teachers Association Professor Dr. with Jahangir Hossain Others were present.
In the same time, various faculties, halls, departments and social political organizations participated in the procession under their respective banners. The ‘Mrityunjti Mujib’ mural came to the square and ended in various places of the campus.

It is to be noted that on the occasion of the day, around 9 am, the painting competition was held in the ‘Gagan Harkara’ gallery of Rabindra-Nazrul Kala Bhavan in the university.
