The most prestigious tournament in Dhaka cricket, the Dhaka Premier League, was officially inaugurated on Wednesday.
BCB Chief Executive Officer Nizamuddin Chowdhury Sujan, Match Referee Chief Rakibul Hasan and CCDM chief coordinator Amin Khan were also present at the inauguration ceremony, and Rabiul Islam Milton, Deputy Acting Director of the sponsoring company Olton, was also present at the inauguration ceremony.
On the first day of the Premier League, the game is being played at three venues, Sheikh Jamal-Dhaka Leopard faced in Mirpur, while Agrani Bank Cricket Club has been playing with the City Club and Fatulla Legends of Rupganj against Prime Bank Cricket Club in BKSP.
A total of 12 teams are participating in this year's Dhaka Premier League, while the six teams will enter the Super League and from there the championship of the tournament will be decided.
