The raiding team of the fisheries department arrested 4 fishermen in the operation led by the Fisheries Officer for the crime of hilsa fishing in the shelter of the water in the waters of the watershed in the water of Bhola.
On Friday morning, when the arrested fishermen were brought to the upazila executive officer and executive magistrate Moritam Begum, he awarded a fine of 10,000 taka to the two fishermen and released 2 unattained people leaving behind their parents.
Earlier on Friday morning, 1 behundi, 5 mashri and 2 thousand meters of illegal current nets were destroyed in the fire.
Tajumuddin Upazila Fisheries Officer Al Amin confirmed the poison and said that the fishermen were arrested, illegal nets and boats were seized by raiding various places in Meghna throughout the night.
