20 people were injured in the explosion in Puran Siddiquebazar of the capital and are undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College (DMH) Hospital. Besides, 10 people are admitted to Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute for burnt.
Besides, 17 bodies have been handed over to the family.
Lalbagh Division DC Zafar Hossain gave this information on Wednesday (March 8) morning.
He said the bodies of 17 people in DM have been handed over to their relatives and the police have reported the death of 17 people in the blast.
Meanwhile, DMK Police Camp Incharge (Inspector) Bachchu Mia said that there are about twenty patients admitted to the burn and hospital of DMK in the incident of the explosion in Siddikbazar.
Dr Samant Lal Sen, chief coordinator of the National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute, said that one of the 11 patients in Siddique Bazar blast has been sent to DM. Now we have about ten people admitted here, some of them are in a bad situation.
He said, now I am seeing patients in the ICU myself.
According to a source from the hospital, the family members of some of the people came to the hospital in the middle of the night in the incident of the blast in Siddique Bazar.
From DMK ticket counter. Suman said that the incident of the blast in Siddique Bazar was treated with tickets from 172 tickets from Tuesday (March 7) afternoon to 12:00 pm, and 20 of them were admitted.
