Emergency meeting of Lakshmipur administration to deal with Mora

The district administration held an emergency meeting in Lakshmipur to deal with the cyclone ‘Mora’ and determine the karani. The meeting was held at the District Commissioner's conference room at around 11 am on Monday.

It has been decided to prepare the shelter in various schools including Mike, Mike, Mike, Action Room, adequate relief system and 102 shelter centers to take the public to a safe haven.

District Commissioner Homatra Begum presided over it, District Superintendent of Police (SP) Asam Mahtab Uddin, Civil Surgeon Mustafa Khaled Ahmed, District Relief and Rehabilitation Officer Borhan Uddin, Deputy Director of Agriculture Extension Department Golam Mostafa and Information Officer Abdullah Al Mamun and others were present.

According to the district administration sources, the cyclone ‘Mora’ is staying in the Bay of Bengal, which has been asked to display the danger signal number 7 along the coast of Lakshmipur.
