The country's widely circulated national daily Ganamukti Patrika has crossed the 50th year in the country in 51 years in the midst of various adversities.
On this occasion, the 50th anniversary of Ganamukti newspaper was celebrated in Kamalnagar. On Monday (Janu 30) at 8 pm, the founding anniversary was celebrated with a discussion meeting and cake cutting. Ganamukti Kamalnagar Upazila representative Shoraf Uddin Swapan was present as the chief guest and spoke as a guest. Md. The Asian Age Kamalnagar representative and Kamalnagar Press Club President Dr. Anutar Hossain, Daily Azkal Khabar Kamalnagar Correspondent and Press Club Secretary Ariful Islam Tarek, Daily Amar Barta Kamalnagar Correspondent and Press Club Executive Member Abdulyah Al Mamun were present as special guests.
In his speech at the foundation anniversary ceremony, the chief guest said in his speech that journalists are the conscience of a nation. To keep the independence of the country intact and the role of journalists in the development of the country is immense, he advised to serve from the side of the country and the people with respect.
