The 10th death anniversary of Dr. Akhlakul Hossain Ahmed, the organizer of the Liberation War and Constituent Assembly member, was celebrated in Mohanganj, Netrakona on Sunday.
Dr. Akhlakul Hossain Ahmed Memorial Trust program included black badges, national flag and black flag hoisting, wreath laying at Bangabandhu's portrait, wreath laying on the portrait of Dr. Akhlakul Hossain Ahmed, grave gistat, memorial meeting and dorm mahfil.
The memorial meeting held under the chairmanship of Mirza Abdul Gani was held by the former senior secretary of the Prime Minister's Office and the chairman of the board of directors of Biman Bangladesh, Sajjadul Hasan, the vice-chancellor of Sheikh Hasina University. Subrata Kumar Aditya, District Council Administrator Prashant Rashan, Mohanganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Chhabbir Ahmed Akunji, Netrakona District Aomi League Joint Aghar Noor Khan Mithu, Mohanganj Awami League President and Municipal Metor Latifur Rahman Ratan, District Chhatra League General Secretary Sobatal Ahmed Khan, Mohanganj Upazila Parishad Vice Chet Man Dilip Dutta, UP Cheta Manori Islamul Islam and others.
The memorial meeting was delivered by the general secretary of the trust Akikunnesa Khanam Chowdhury Beauty. The speakers appealed to everyone to follow the ideals of Dr. Akhlakul Hossain Ahmed.
