The area under the jurisdiction of the Capital Development Authority has lost its effectiveness in 2010. The Ministry of Home Affairs and Public Works has issued a notification for the implementation of new detailed area planning (DAP).
A notification in this regard will be issued from the Ministry on Tuesday (August 23).
According to the notification, DAP (2016-2035) of Dhaka Metropolitan Area for an area of 1528 square kilometers under Rajuk will be published in 2020.
The master plan has been approved immediately after considering objections and recommendations, and it will be effective immediately.
In the notification of the Ministry of Griha and Public Works, the poison of DAP was reported to be passed in 2010.
But until the publication of the notification, the works which have been completed or taken measures under the 2010 DAP will be considered valid.
It should be noted that Rajuk started the revised DAP production in March 2015. In December 2017, the DAP was supposed to be completed in December 2017.
The work is not completed until December 2018.
