The students of Anjuman Adarsh Government High School, the best school in Netrakona district, protested against the class by boycotting the class in the 5-point demand.
On Tuesday, from 12 noon to 1 pm, hundreds of students of the school left the school and started a protest demanding 5-point implementation by creating road barricades in front of the gate.
At one point, the police came and requested the students to enter the school by sneaking the road, and they started protesting, ignoring the request of the police, and at around 1 o'clock the school teachers assured to accept their demands and they entered the school.
The demands of the students are, instead of the acting head teacher, a qualified and experienced head teacher is appointed, given the class syllabus and fast syllabus, cleaned class room cleaning, providing high quality tiffin and providing sports materials.
Swapna Rani Sarkar, assistant headmistress of the school, said that the headmistress of the school is on leave. The five-point demands of the students have been submitted to us in written form, we will solve these problems later through a meeting.
When I contacted the headmistress of the school on mobile phone, she said, I am currently at my home in Momansingh, I am taking a leave to see a doctor again after the eye surgery. It is not true that I am going to school every day from Mysaningh.
When contacted, Netrakona Deputy Commissioner Kazi Md Abdur Rahman, he said, "I have heard about the students' movement and demands. On Wednesday, I will discuss with everyone in the school and take action later."
