Laxmipur Kamalnagar Upazila Awami League's initiative held a rally and discussion meeting on the occasion of Sheikh Hasina's 41st Homecoming Day.
His life in exile ended in 1981 when he returned home in 1981. After the assassination of Bangabandhu in his family in 1975, Sheikh Hasina was exiled abroad for about six years. The ruling party Awami League has taken various programs on the occasion of the day.
Upazila Aomi League President Nizam Uddin presided over the program, General Secretary of Upazila Aomi League Advocate Nurul Amin Raju.
Kamalnagar Upazila Chairman and Jubo League President Mejbah Ahmed Bappi, Upazila Jubo League General Secretary Ahsan Ullah Hiron, Upazila Vice-Chairman Omar Farooq Sagar, former Upazila Freedom Fighter Commander Shafikul Islam, Upazila Farmers League President Harun Doctor, Upazila Awtami League Joint General Secretary Fazlul Haque Sabuj and others were present as special guests in front of Sam Kamalnagar Press Club on Tuesday, May 17 at 5 pm.
Nizam Uddin, president of Esmut Upazila Aomi League, said, "Today there is no crack in Kamalnagar, I will keep the Aomi League well organized even if I live in life."
