At least 30 people were injured in the incident of the arrest of a battery-powered auto-rickshaw in Faridpur, which was vandalized and looted.
The clashes continued from 10:00 PM to AITA yesterday (April 3) from 10:00 PM to AIT. According to local residents and police sources, the clash continued till late night in the area of the upazila's Gatti Union.
Habibur Rahman Lablu, chairman of Gotti Union Parishad (UP), said that the people of Nuru Matubbar, member of No. 1 andtern of the unit, arrested the battery-powered auto-rickshaw of the supporter of UP (member) UP Member (Member) of the nearby 3rd Otarard.
Later, after the news, the area was created tension. Saltha Upazila Chairman Abdul Odud Matubbar said that after getting the news, efforts have been made to calm the two parties.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Saltha Police Station. Asikuzzaman said that the police brought the situation under control after the news of the clash, and additional police were deployed there in the clash.
