In the middle of the colorful program, 2 students who achieved the best results in mathematics at the Government Rajendra College of Faridpur were awarded gold medals and cash prizes in the academic charities A.F. Mujibur Rahman Foundation.
Today, March 29, the city branch of Govt Rajendra College organized the gold medal and prize distribution ceremony.
Professor Asim Kumar Saha, Principal of the College of Rajendra College, Prof. Kazi Belat Hossain presided over the event, Professor Shipra, President of Faridpur Mahila Parishad was the chief guest in the event. Rat, A.F. Mujibur Rahman Foundation representative Lona T. Rahman and others were present at the college's mathematics department, students and other guests.
Those concerned said that Tuhin Mandal has received a gold medal of one heavy weight and a cash prize of Tk 15,000 this year for the best results from Rajendra College in the postgraduate examination 2018.
Tanzina Akhtar has received an equal amount of gold medal and cash prize of Tk 10,000 as the best achiever in the graduation examination held in 2019.
This year for the 9th time A.F. Mujibur Rahman Foundation awarded this gold medal to meritorious mathematicians and has been giving this award since 2014.
The mathematics department of the college, students and other guests were present on the occasion.
