A reception and discussion meeting of brave freedom fighters was held at Kamalnagar in Lakshmipur on the occasion of Mukti Utsav and Golden Austrian celebration.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Kamruzzaman presided over the Mukti Utsav and Subarnajati Mela on Wednesday at 10 am in the Kamalnagar Upazila Administration.
Kamalnagar Upazila Parishad Chairman Mejbah Uddin Ahmed Bappi was the chief guest on the occasion. Laxmipur Sadar former freedom fighter commander Mahbubul Alam, former district organizing secretary Siraj Ulyah Manabakshal, freedom fighter Banshripal, officer in charge of Kamalnagar police station were present. Solaman, upazila former freedom fighter commander Safiq Uddin and 50 brave freedom fighters of the district upazila.

Otazi Ullah Jutull, Kamalnagar Press Club A part of Ahbathak MA Majid, Doctor Aqeel Al Islam, Alternative Upazila Secretary Chiddik Ulyah, various levels of officials and teachers and students of the upazila. Conducted the meeting of Upazila Secondary Education Officer (Acting) Md. Tauhidul Islam.
The freedom fighters highlighted the history of the liberation war.
