The District Teachers' Association held a program of human chain and memorandum issuing program for the purpose of 11-point demand in Narsingdi. As part of the Bangladesh Teachers' Association Central, this human chain was held in front of Narsingdi Press Club on Wednesday (March 23) at noon.
At the end of the human chain, the teacher leaders presented a memorandum to the Prime Minister to the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Abdullah Al Zaki at the office of the district administration along with the rally.
In the memorandum, 11 point demands are highlighted in the memorandum in Mujib year, the nationalization of secondary education, full festival allowance of teachers and employees of government teachers before Eid, payment of medical allowance and medical allowance, introduction of full pension system, introduction of MPO teachers and employees.
Earlier, Ranjit Kumar Saha, Advisor of Bangladesh Teachers' Association Central Committee and Senate member of Dhaka University, spoke as the chief guest at the standard.
Central teacher leader Harun Or Rashid presided over the human chain, District General Secretary Md. Ahiduzzaman, Central Leader Ranjit Debnath, Azharul Islam, District Publicity Secretary Haldhar Das and others spoke in the human chain.
