A bus-microbus collision occurred in Shivpur, Narsingdi, killing one, four people, injured.
The accident took place in the Gangpaz area of Shibpur Upazila of Narsingdi district on Tuesday (March 22) around 5 pm.
The names of the injured and dead have not been identified, but they are known as passengers of the microbus.
According to police sources in Higho, on Tuesday afternoon, Sylhet-bound Ena Paribahan bus and a Dhaka-bound Hites microbus collided head-on.
A passenger of the microbus died on the spot and four others were seriously injured, and the locals rescued the injured and went to a nearby clinic, after the police recovered the body in the news and sent it to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital morgue for investigation.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Police in Itakhola Highway Noor Hathdar Talukder said, after the accident, the driver left the bus. Two of the police seized the police.
The injured have been sent to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital and later to Dhaka for better treatment, with police trying to identify the dead and injured, and the next legal action has been under the vegetation, according to the police sources.
