The price of potato per kg in the capital has increased from Tk 5 to Tk 10 in the span of a week. A few days ago, potatoes were sold at Tk 15 per kg.
Now white potatoes are being sold in the capital from Tk 20 to Tk 25 per kg. Red potatoes are being sold at Tk 30-35 per kg.
The previous week, white potatoes were sold at Tk 15 per kg and red potatoes were sold at Tk 20 per kg.
Retail traders say, I bought more prices from the wholesale market, so I am selling at a higher price.
