The police have recovered the hanging body of a school girl named Ankhi Akhtar in Lakshmipur. The body was recovered from her basin in the city's Dakshin Majupur area around 12 noon on Thursday. The family and the police could not tell the cause of Ankhi's death. The body of the girl was sent to Laxmipur Sadar Hospital morgue for maternity.
Ankhi local Amjad Ali was a seventh grade student of Pathotari High School. Her father's name is Abdus Shahid. Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) AK Fazlul Haque said that Ankhi's body has been sent to the hospital for an investigation. The next legal arrangements will be made after receiving the report of the post.
