The hawta of Phagun is swaying in the south wind, enthralled by the scent of Amramukul, while the swaying of the shimul flower in nature, the swaying of the cuckoo's melodious squint is swaying.

The green leaves have woken up on the trees, the buds and flowers can be understood by seeing the winter.
With the arrival of Rituraj Basant, the nature of modern rural Bengal has bloomed in Rangi.

But with the evolution of time, the Shimul tree, decorated with a beautiful red colored garland, is now extinct, the tradition of Shimul flowers is disappearing from nature day by day.

A century ago, many shirul trees were seen in the vast majority of villages and on the street doors. Every tree was blooming on each tree, and spring came to the door.

The branches of the Shimul tree were seen dressed as a village bride dressed as a village bride who was disappointed by the sight of the love of the shimul tree.

The shimul tree is one of the main sources of cotton extraction, which has the medicinal properties of all the parts of this plant. The doctors still use different parts of the plant in the treatment of various diseases. The roots of the plant are propagated through the seeds and stems. The simul tree blooms within 5-6 years of planting. The tree is 90 to 100 feet tall.

The shimul tree lives up to 100 years after dealing with various natural disasters. The leaves fall in the beginning of spring. The tree will bloom in the beginning of spring, and the fruit is the fruit of the flower.

Around the month of Baisakh, the fruits are ripe in the air and the fruit bursts naturally with cotton, and the tree is born from the seeds. It is born from the seed. Like other trees, this tree does not like to plant it.

All parts of this tree are useful. Its bark, leaves and flowers are very pre-food for cattle. Shimul cotton has been carrying the tradition of making pillows, coatings and mattres for ages.

I am a media worker and I am saying from the practical experience of seeing my own eyes, Md. Rakib, son of a farmer family who sells cotton from a shimul tree and earns 12 to 15 thousand taka per year.

He is the son of Bair Abdul Malek of East Char Sekander Sheikh Mujib of Ramgati Upazila.

Compared to the previous, the price of Shimul cotton has become very high. Now this tree is being killed every day.’
Ramgati Upazila Agriculture Officer Atiq Ahmed said, commercially, this shimul tree or cotton is not cultivated anywhere in the country.

It grows naturally, which makes the shimul tree disappear, which is very good for commercial cultivation.

It is the duty and duty of everyone to protect this tree that is beautifying and beneficial of the environment of Shimul tree.
