The police have arrested 7 fugitive accused in the case of women and children abuse in Rakhtpur, Laxmipur, who were arrested in various places of the upazila on Tuesday night and were sent to jail on Wednesday.
The arrested accused are Amir Hossain, son of Abdur Rob of the convicted accused Kerota village, Md Shahjahan, son of deceased Noor Mita Bepari of Char Ababil village, Safi Sepahi, son of Ali Ashraf Sepahi of Chargachita village, Md. Hashan, son of Osman Fakir of Char Indiuri village, son of Sirajul Chai, Motaleb, son of Motalb of Charbanshi, Motalb of Charbanshi village.
Ratpur police station OC Lokman Hossain said the arrested persons were sent to jail through the court on Wednesday afternoon and efforts are underway to arrest other accused in this case.
