‘Stop Violence Women, Orange World Glory’ A party-long campaign discussion meeting and human chain was held in front of the slogan. On Wednesday (December 08) afternoon in Purnimaganti Pukurpaz village of Ullapaza Upazila, the social power and legal protection program was chaired by Ullapa Upazila BRAC Associate Officer (Selp) under the chairmanship of Haji Zamin Uddin. Shahnaz Parveen directed the discussion as the chief guest, Ullapaza Upazila Women Vice Chairman Ribli Islam Kavita Sam Samat said,
You all know how to stop violence against women, what the government is doing and what BRAC is doing. Women are the center of violence but women are not only abused by men, but also by women. Our sons should eliminate discrimination in Math. Women should also be vocal in society. The BRAC NGO is working hard in the sun, BRAC NGO, the organization of Drarid, Child Marriage, Women Violence, BRAC, women, and children are being abused by the law.
He also said he urged everyone to work together to stop violence against women and encourage all women to be economically independent.
Also, BRAC Sambank Raisuddin of Sirajganj, UP Member Abu Musa of Purnimaganti No. 2nd O,RD, Manoratara Khatun, Head of Rural Society, etc. also spoke at the event. BRAC Associated Officer (Selp) etc. Shahnaz Parveen in his speech highlighted the aims and objectives of the programme.
