Forcible drainage of expatriate land in Kamalnagar; cropland is turning into canal

In Kamalnagar of Lakshmipur, hundreds of people joined forces with a group of people named Md. Ismail Hossain and forced the drain water to drain the water of Jotaar. The 5-acre land has been turned into an overnight canal, which has completely destroyed the roads, the land and cropland worth crores of rupees, and the expatriate family has faced various losses.
On Friday (September 25), the ground was seen on the ground, which caused the drainage of the water to become a 5 acres of land and become a canal. More areas are expected to collapse, which will cause damage to more than 30 families.
Earlier on Tuesday (September 22) morning, the incident took place in the 2nd of Char Kalkini Unit of the upazila. The victim's family has alleged that the incident took place under the leadership of Motirhat Government Primary School, PITON Md. Abdul Mateen.
On the day of the incident, Abdul Matin is instructing the people to cut down the land of the expatriate and people are working on his instructions with khanta and spade.
Local residents and affected family sources said that the drain Abdul Matin was brought from different places and cut the garden of the expatriate family and built a drain.
Chaleha Begum, the mother of that expatriate, said that despite the water flow in other places, my 5 acres of land is being destroyed due to revenge and damage is being done.
Accused Abdul Mateen said, "I was not in the lead to make the drain, but I was present at the same time." He could not say anything about the poison of making a drain with the permission of the owner on the private land.
When asked about this poison, Kamalnagar Upazila Parishad Cheetman Mejbah Uddin Ahmed Bappi said that it should not be done in any way by completely damaging someone's land and bringing water down to others. But after seeing the poison, a solution will be called and tried to find a solution.
