Ramgati (Laxmipur) representative: The upazila administration has announced the closure of all types of shops and markets except for emergency medicine, food and daily commodity shops until further instructions at Ramgati in Lakshmipur.
The upazila administration issued this order to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the public interest.
According to the administration sources, according to the decision of the upazila coronavirus control and prevention committee meeting, all types of shops and markets except medicine, emergency food products and raw market will be closed tomorrow from May 18 till further instructions.
All types of CNG, autorickshaws, easybikes, motorcycles will be in force, including the suspension of all the pre-announced instructions, which will be open from 8 am to 2 pm.
The drug store will be open all the time.
Also, the two entrances and waterways of the upazila will be closely monitored by the administration.
It is also mentioned in the order that appropriate legal action will be taken against those who violate this order.
In this regard, the upazila executive officer Md. Abdul Momin said that this order has been issued in the public interest to protect the health protection of the people of this upazila and to prevent the spread of the virus. By the grace of Allah, we are very well. Everyone has to suffer a little and follow the hygiene rules.
