In the 10 villages of Laxmipur in harmony with Saudi Arabia, the holy Eid-ul-Azha is being celebrated today on Monday, but the joy of Eid is being lost due to the dilemma and turmoil in those areas. Most of the people have prepared for the sacrifice of animals after Eid prayers, but some worshipers have not seen a smile on their faces.
Maulana Ishaq (ra) for 36 long years As a follower, Eid-ul-Azha is being celebrated in 10 villages in Laxmipur in line with Saudi Arabia today around 10 am on Monday. In the Talimun Koran Noorani Madrasah of Noagaon Bazar in Ramganj Upazila, the Eid prayers were held at the Madrasah grounds, and Maulana Neshar Ahmad led the Imams in which about a thousand of these villages were held. The worshipers offer Eid prayers at different times at different times in their respective Eid villages.
It is known that about 1000 villages including Noagaon, Jaipura, Bigha, Baro Gharia, Hotatia, Sharshoi, Kanchanpur and Kalakopa villages of Raipur upazila of the district are known to be around 1000. The worshipers are celebrating Eid-ul-Azha today.
As followers of Maulana Ishaq (R.A.), the people of these areas have been celebrating all religious festivals including Eid in accordance with the holy land of Mecca and Medina.
Meanwhile, there is disagreement among the people of the village around the early Eid celebrations, which celebrate Eid separately in the same village with Saudi Arabia and Bangladesh.
Abul Hossain of Noagaon village of Ramganj upazila told Top News, "If we celebrate Eid in harmony with Saudi Arabia, we have to pray in accordance with Saudi Arabia. Why will there be disagreement in the case of Eid only?
Daily Manabzamin Ramganj Upazila Correspondent Abu Taher told Top News that due to being the imam of the local mosque, Neshar Ahmad, a follower of Maulana Ishaq (RA), is calling people to celebrate Eid in advance by going door to door and this is creating confusion among people.
Ramganj upazila executive officer Md Abu Yusuf told Top News that it is a matter of their own belief that people are celebrating various religious festivals including Saudi Arabia in some places of the upazila, but there is a disagreement among people about this, but the administration is alert to avoid any untoward incidents about Eid.
