A young man who was injured in a stabbing in Rashtpur upazila of Laxmipur has died under treatment. Sea (32). He died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital at around 10 o'clock on Tuesday night.
The deceased was a resident of Devipur village in Sagar Ratpur upazila, a tiles craftsman who was stabbed in the chest on June 12 by Nurul Islam Munshi of Raatpur town.
According to police and local residents, a local person named Nurul Amin (45) stabbed Sagar, who was injured at first, but his condition was alarming and his condition was alarming.
Md. Rajan, the brother of the deceased Sagar, said that Nurul Amin, accused of stabbing, has been selling drugs in the area for a long time. On the day of the incident, a man came to buy drugs from Nurul Amin. Seeing that the man was selling drugs to the person, he stopped Sagar in this. Even after the surgery, he could not be saved.
Ratpur police station officer in charge Shaheen Mita said the accused Nurul Amin was arrested with ganja on the day of the stabbing incident and was sent to jail by the court. He was later released on bail but was a case of stabbing incident last Monday and sent to court again on Monday.
