Charbhadrasan Upazila of Faridpur is the Char area of Bangladesh, 6 sets of irrigation with irrigation equipment LLP set and canvas pipes have been distributed among 6 farmer groups.
Through this program held at the upazila agriculture office, the initiative of involving the farmers of Char area with modern agricultural technology and increasing the irrigation facilities has been taken to increase the productivity of crops during the rainy and kharp seasons.
Suraita Mumtaz was present as the chief guest at the event, he told the farmers that by expanding the modern technology-based agricultural system, the quality of life of the farmers in the Char area will be improved and food production will be possible.
Imran bin Islam, who presided over the event, said that such irrigation equipment will ensure proper irrigation of the land to the farmers and help to increase the yield as well as increase the yield.
Officials and employees of the agriculture department, local farmers and members of various farmers were present.
