On the occasion of the 13th death anniversary of late Obaidul Haque, founder president of Ramganj Press Club and veteran journalist, a memorial meeting and doa mahfil were held.
The event was organized at Ramganj Press Club auditorium on Sunday (September 30) and the speakers highlighted various aspects of the working life of the deceased in the mourning meeting held under the chairmanship of journalist Abu Taher, president of Ramganj Press Club and moderated by former president journalist Mahmud Farooq.
Former Principal of Raipur Government College Obaidul Rahman, former president of Press Club SM Babar Babul, journalist Omar Farooq Patwari, Masud Rana Moni and Zakir Hossain Sumon spoke on the occasion.

The speakers said that journalist Obaidul Haque was the main initiator of the establishment of Ramganj Press Club, which gained the trust of people from all walks of life through brave, fair and impartial journalism, and his ideals and actions will be an exemplary example for the journalists of the next generation.
At the end of the commemoration meeting, a special prayer was offered for the soul of the deceased.
