The chetterman of JKG Healthcare Dr. Sabrina Arif Chowdhury and her husband, CEO of the company Ariful Haque Chowdhury, have been sentenced to 11 years in prison.
The court of Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Tofazzal Hossain announced this on Tuesday afternoon.
The accused were brought to the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) court from Kashimpur Central Jail at around 8 am on Tuesday morning on the Raat Declaration Center and then they will be kept in the courtroom.
On June 29, Additional Metropolitan Magistrate of Dhaka Tofazzal Hossain fixed this day for the declaration of Rata after presenting the arguments of the state and the accused.
Earlier on May 11, Additional Metropolitan Magistrate Tofazzal Hossain's self-insurance in the court of Dhaka. In support, the accused claim their innocence and expect justice.
Out of 40 witnesses in this case, 26 have testified in different times.
