The mobile court has seized three fishermen's illegal nets worth seven lakh rupees and seized thirty kg of jatka for the banning of Jatka in Charbhadrasan of Faridpur.
Executive Magistrate and UNO Tanjila Kabir Trapa led the campaign conducted at different places of Padma river from 4 pm to 9 pm on Monday afternoon.
In the operation, Aroz Khan (32), son of Kalam Khan of Kalam Khan of Shalepur village in Harirampur union of the upazila, was fined five thousand, Fonindra Mandal (39), son of Haribala mandal of Sonatala village in Bogura district, and Russell Mahmdu (32), son of Aman Ali Hossain of Kala Paa village of Jamalpur district, was fined two thousand taka.
Also, two illegal corner nets used to kill jatka from them are worth 6 lakh taka and three current nets worth one lakh taka and 30 kg of jatka fish can be found.
