twelfth Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Habibul Autal said that 40 percent of the votes have been received in the national parliamentary elections.
He said this in a press conference at the Election Commission after polling on Sunday (January 7) afternoon.
CEC Kazi Habibul Autal said, we saw the peaceful situation in the morning. There was no serious incident like violence, there were some complaints, we got the ballots and we crossed them and immediately took action, we arrested, filed a case, and one person's candidature was canceled at the last minute.
