The customers will be provided with the set top box till November 30. If the set top box is not installed in this event, the minister of information and broadcasting has said that the television viewing of the customers will be hindered from December 1. Hasan Mahmud.
He gave this information after meeting with Cable Operators Association, Association of TV Channel Owners (ATCO) and Distributors at the Secretariat on Sunday. He thanked the cable operators who helped to start the cleanfeed.
He said that the cable networking system of Dhaka and Chittagong will be digitized by November 30. And by December 31, cable nettark will be digitized with all the divisions and metropolitan cities along with the old 11 district cities.
The information minister said that the meeting was unanimously decided that only the network would be digitalized at the scheduled time. Only the operators knew that they had installed digital devices. Now customers will be provided with set top boxes. If customers do not install this set top box, the television will be interrupted by November 30. Only the operators said there is no need to talk.
