Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that those who were injured for 29 years could not give anything to the people of the country. We gave everything to the people of this country. We came to power in 1996 and saw that there was no boarding bridge at the airport, there was no parking.
He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the opening ceremony of the third terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. The event was organized on the occasion of the inauguration of Shahjalal International Airport Terminal-3 on Saturday (October 7).
The Prime Minister said, when I came to the government in 1996, our airport had no boarding bridge, no parking system, nothing. We came to the government and took the initiative to develop the airport. We also built two international airports in Chittagong and Sylhet. With the development project of Shahjalal Airport, the development journey of the airport started from 1996 to 2001. I would request everyone if If you can, then you will see what development was done till 1996.
