The committee of the Ministry of Education held a meeting on the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) on the assessment system last Monday (April 22). The meeting was decided to move forward with these five issues.
In the recommendation of the SSC written examination, the committee has recommended that the written (examination) assessment can be kept in addition to the qualification and program based on the evaluation system.
The committee also recommended to update the ‘craft’ apps for the evaluation of the students, to inform the parents and participants in the seven-part scale of the certificate/transcript in the final assessment.
5 hours SSC exam
And the SSC exam will be only on the poison of class 10. In other words, the examinations on the 9th-10th classes will be conducted only on the 10th class in the new curriculum. In this class, the students will get a total of 10 poisons. The poisons are - Bengali, English, Mathematics, Science, History and Social Science, Digital Technology, Life and Livelihood, Religion and Livelihood, Religion and Life and Livelihood, Religion and Life and Livelihood, Religion and Education, Health, Art and Culture.
Resourcepool (expert team) will be formed with 600 poison based teachers for the overall performance of SSC exam. First of all, they will be given seven days training under the supervision of NCTB experts in the board of their board. A total of 44 teachers will be appointed for each poisoning of the board for each poison.
The committee head and education Additional Secretary of the Ministry, Mohammad Khaled Rahim, said that there are more recommendations for the new curriculum assessment system. These are now being scrutinized at the final stage. After that, the report will be officially submitted in the recommendation of the official.
The new curriculum was implemented in the first, sixth and seventh grades last year, and this year will be implemented in the second, third, eighth and ninth grades. Then in the fifth and tenth grade in 2025, the 11th in 2026 and the 12th in the 12th class will be implemented.
At present, students are evaluated in two ways. It will be the same as the educational institution at the end of the year, the education program is not available from the pre-primary to the third class.
