The officials of Islamic University (EB) have continued the strike for five hours (9 am to 2 pm) with 12-point demands including relaxation of the conditions in the case of pet quota in admission. Sunday (August 13) 12th day They do this movement.
Earlier, the officials had been on a 2-hour strike from July 26 to August 2. They have been on a five-hour strike since last Saturday (August 05).
It is known that the students should get a minimum of 30 marks for admission application in the cluster university. The same conditions have been kept for the quota holders but for the pets less than 30 marks, the officials demanded the application.
ATM Emdadul Alam, president of the officials association, said that our program will continue until we accept our demands. If we do not accept our demands within this month, then we will start a strict movement from September.
Incidentally, the officials held a press conference with the journalists of the university last Monday (August 7). On this day, they raised 12-point demands including reducing the eligibility of application for admission, including the salary scale of the officers and employees, promotion and facilities.
