Dhaka will raise the poison of Teesta water distribution agreement on the sidelines of the G-20 summit in Delhi and the Teesta water distribution agreement.
Foreign Secretary Masud bin Momen said this after a discussion meeting of Bangladesh's pledge to take water to the United Nations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday (September 3).
He said, ‘The Teesta water agreement will be raised by the Prime Minister. The other poisons have also been raised. We have 54 identical rivers. The Ganga water agreement will also end the term. So the Joint River Commission is discussing separately in all the poisons. But at the highest political level, we have discussed or kept the Teesta.’
Nazmul Ahsan, Secretary of the Ministry of Water Resources, said that 57 projects are being worked under the Delta Plan. Several projects have already been implemented and some more are ongoing.
