The first high flow central oxygen system of Laxmipur district is being launched in Kamalnagar Upazila Health Complex. Kamalnagar Upazila Parishad and Upazila Administration have fully cooperated to introduce such a system in a hospital in a remote area of an upazila like Kamalnagar. Such facilities are not available in many other hospitals of the country including Lakshmipur.
On Sunday (July 19), upazila health and family officer Dr. Md. Abu Taher said that this system will be inaugurated any day.
Hospital authorities have already completed all preparations. Installation, bed preparation and central monitoring station are all ready, now only the official opening is left.
The doctors have known that if this system is introduced, 10 beds of this hospital with 50 beds will be under the purview of high flow central oxygen. Out of 10 beds, 7 common beds and 2 are common cabins and one VIP cabin has high flow central oxygen added.
And the high flow central oxygen system has been introduced and the hospital has now taken a step forward in the field of corona treatment.
Meanwhile, Kamalnagar Upazila Parishad Chairman Mejbah Uddin Ahmed Bappi and Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Mubarak Hossain High Flow visited the central oxygen installation system.
Among others, the resident medical officer of the upazila health complex was present. Mir Aminul Islam Manju, Dr. Mohammad Rezaul Karim Rajib, Dr. Aqeel Al Islam, Dr. Olaliuddin Masud, Vice Chairman of Kamalnagar Upazila Parishad Omar Farooq Sagar, Roksana Akhtar Ruxi and other hospital officials.
According to the locals, 20 beds of 50-bed Laxmipur Kamalnagar Upazila Health Complex have been reserved for corona patients since the beginning of the spread of coronavirus, but doctors collected samples of corona patients in the hospital and provided medical services to the affected patients in the hospital.
In a very short time, the entire district has heard the good medical services of a few doctors in this health complex. That's why Kamalnagar Chao rushed to this hospital for corona patients service.
The hospital is now fully prepared for the lack of oxygen for patients with coronavirus.
