2023 - The proposed budget for the financial year 2024 will be presented in the National Parliament today Thursday (June 1).
This is the fifth budget of the government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina after the power came to the third party in a row, while the current government Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal is the fifth budget.
The main philosophy of this year's budget is the construction of a happy and rich and developed smart Bangladesh by 2041.
Bangladesh's achievements under the supervision of the current government in the last decade have built a sustainable ground-mark or foundation stone. Smart Bangladesh will be established on four main pillars. Smart Citizen, Smart Government, Smart Society and Smart Economy will be the first budget for the 2023-24 financial year.
In this year's budget, health, agriculture, food production and management are being given more importance. The whole of the financial year will have various food-friendly programs, the cover of the social security program.
All feedback and recommendations will be considered.
The budget will be implemented after the approval of the budget by the National Parliament and the following government website links to ensure comprehensive participation.
