The Holy Qur'an has described various dots for the sake of children, among them many prophets and messengers.
* Prophet Ibrahim (A.S.) He prayed for the child. Almighty Allah accepted his prayer and gave him a good child.
رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
Pronunciation: Rabbi Habli Minas Solehin.
Meaning: O my Lord! Give me a good child.’ (Surah Saffat, A'at: 100)
* Zakarita (A.S.) The old man had prayed for a child, and his read was:
رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِن لَّدُنْكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةً إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاء
Pronunciation: Rabbi Habli Milladunka Jurioritatan Tayyibah, Innaka Samiud Dua.
* One of the qualities of the beloved servants of Allah is that they pray for a virtuous wife and children.
رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَقِينَ إِمَامًا
Pronunciation: Rabbana-hablana-min azwotajina or য়a jurrita-tina-kurrata a'i'tun, o'ta ja'alna-lil muttakina imama.
Meaning: O our Lord, grant us the coolness of the eyes from our partner and our children and grant us as an example for those who are God-fearing. (Surah Furqan, A'at: 74)
