Shahjadpur in Sirajganj Police have arrested the drug dealer in twelve cases, including his wife, and eight grams of heroin was recovered from them.
They were arrested from Daritapur of the upazila on Sunday morning.
The arrested are Adam Ali (36), son of Ibrahim Khar of Daritapur village of Shahjadpur upazila of the district and his wife Ruma Khatun (30).
Shahjadpur police station sub-inspector (SI) Gopal Chandra Mandal said that Adam Ali and his wife Ruma Khatun of Daritapur area of the upazila have been doing drug business for a long time.
On Sunday, the drug-trader couple was arrested from their home on the basis of secret information, which was seized from them, and at least 12 cases were filed against the arrested Adam Ali.
