Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-12) members arrested a arms dealer named Harun-or-Rashid (37) with a foreign pistol and two rounds of bullets from Belkuchi in Sirajganj.
The arrested Harun-or-Rashid is the son of Noor Hossain Sarkar of village Butra Machum (now Nakfata Paschimpa) of Belkuchi Upazila.
RAB-12 Major (Medita Officer) M. Rifat-Bin-Asad confirmed this in a press release at 11 am on Wednesday (April 20).
It is mentioned in the press release that RAB-12 members conducted a special operation in Randhuniba area of Belkuchi based on secret reports in the morning.
1 foreign pistol, 1 magazine and 2 rounds of bullets were arrested from Nakfata West Paschi area.
Later, Belkuchi police station was handed over to him in the morning along with the evidence recovered after filing a case against the arrested arms dealer.
