In Sirajganj, two people died, including a child, a passenger in a battery-powered autovan, and the driver of the van was injured.
On Wednesday (May 18) morning at around 10 o'clock in the morning, the accident took place in Muliba area of Sadar Upazila at Bangabandhu Bridge West Link Mahs. The deceased are Rozina Sultana (37) of Baitara village of Satabad Unit and Mesha Asha Khatun of Nazmul Hasan of the same village (6).
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bangabandhu Setu West Police Station Mosaddek Hossain confirmed this information and said that the autovan was passing through the area in Mulibai area. In this condition, a woman and child died on the spot when a covered van was hit and a woman and a child were injured and the van driver was injured and the van driver visited the spot.
