Faridpur Representative
A young man named Arfin Molla (28) died due to lightning on his way back from Saltha field in Faridpur. The incident took place on Saturday (March 25) around 6 pm in the village of Gatti Unit of the upazila, the deceased Arfin Molla is the son of Abu Molla of that village.
Former UP member Ibrahim Molla told the media that Arfin was knitting jute seeds in the field in the afternoon. After finishing jute seeds, he was seriously injured by lightning in the field.
Upazila Health Officer Dr. SM Iftekhar Azad confirmed the poison of the deceased and said that he died before being brought to the Upazila Health Complex.
Officer-in-charge of Saltha police station Md. Sheikh Sadiq said to the doctors, a young man named Arfin died due to lightning on his way back from the field in Singh Pratap village.
