The court has sent the case filed by Dainik Prothom Alo on the charge of stealing government documents and sent to jail, rejecting the remand application and bail of the senior reporter Rozina Islam.
After the hearing on Tuesday, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Jasim gave the order and the bail hearing of Rozina Islam will be held next Thursday.
Earlier in the morning, he was produced in the court and the investigating officer of the case, Shahbag police station Inspector (Investigation) Arifur Rahman Sardar, sought a 5-day remand, and after the hearing, the court denied remand and bail and ordered him to be sent to jail.
