The Lakshmipur Press Club has protested the attack on journalists while collecting the news of the students' movement demanding a safe savior in the capital.
On Thursday (09 August) afternoon, the organization held an hour-long human chain program in protest of the incident.
Laxmipur Press Club President Kamal Uddin Howladar, Vice President MJ Alam, General Secretary Saidul Islam Pabel, Journalist Azizul Haque, Hossain Ahmad Shahjahan, Habibur Rahman Sabuj, Saiful Islam Swapan, AQM Shahabuddin, Ismail Hossain Zabu, Nizam Uddin, Sajjadur Rahman, Zahirul Islam Shiblu and others spoke at the human chain.
Other journalists working in the district were also present in it.
The speakers said that journalists are being tortured across the country. They are being harassed by various similar cases and the cases are not desirable.
