Festival allowance, 100%, all education including madrasah BMGTA's press conference has been held to demand 20 percent allocation of education sector in the upcoming budget.
On Friday (May 20), the founder president of the organization Harun Or Rashid read the written statement at the press conference held under the chairmanship of BMGTA president Harun Or Rashid at the press conference at Maulana Akram Khan Auditorium of Jati Press Club.
In a written speech at the press conference, he said that in the last financial year 2021-22, the allocation for the primary education sector was 26 thousand 314 crores, secondary and higher education. The allocation to the sector was Tk 36,486 crore but technical and madrasas were allocated only Tk 9,150 crore, due to which there was no improvement in madrasa education. Therefore, in the financial year 2022-23, the budget of 2 divisions of technical and madrasas is Tk 15,000 crore and all education including madrasas. In order to nationalize the system, there is a need to allocate 20 percent of the total budget for the education sector in the upcoming budget.
Harun Or Rashid also said that education Without the progress of any nation, there is no alternative to education in the development of Sonar Bangla, the dream of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, so the highest allocation is needed in the education sector.
The press conference has also made seven-point demands. Providing full festival allowance to private teachers, giving promotion to lecturers in Alim, Fazil and Kamil Madrasa as assistant professor as assistant professor on 8 years of 8 years. Promotion of all lecturers as assistant professors. Paying medical and house rent to teachers according to government rules. Appointment of general teachers to the administrative posts of madrasas and nationalization of all educational institutions including madrasas.
