State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid has given good news on load shedding amid criticism of fuel oil and housing.
Speaking to reporters on Sunday (August 7) afternoon, he said, "We are expected to bring the load shedding to half of the current from September and the load shedding will be normal from October."
Nasrul Hamid Bipu also said, "No one wants to make people suffer. The load shedding will be much better than before next month. I request everyone to be patient."
He also said that in a meeting between the electricity department and traders, there was an agreement to close the area-based factories to save electricity and gas.
