Lakshmipur -3 (Sadar) Constituency, the polling will be held at 8 am on Sunday through the ballot.
On Saturday (November 4) morning, ballots and other equipment were sent from Lakshmipur Adarsh Samad High School grounds to the centers.
Four candidates are contesting in the election. Among them are Ghulam Farooq Pinku (Boat), Jati Party's Md Rakib Hossain (Langal), Shamchul Alam Khokon (Rose Flower) of Zaker Party and Salim Mahamud (Am) of the National People's Party.

The total number of voters in this seat is 4 lakh 3 thousand 744. On September 30, Laxmipur-3 Constituency Member of Parliament AKM Shahjahan Kamal died due to old age. The Election Commission declared the seat vacant on October 4. The date of polling has been fixed on November 5 by ballot.
