Laxmipur Municipality has announced a budget of Tk 115 crore 8 lakh 83 thousand 926. On Wednesday (June 22) at noon, Municipal Metr Mozammel Hadar Masum Bhuita announced the budget.
Under the chairmanship of Masum Bhui, the chief guest was Advocate Noor Uddin Chowdhury Naon, Member of Parliament for Laxmipur-2 (part of Ratpur and Sadar).
Former Mohammad Ulya, District Aomi League President Golam Farooq Pinku, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mohammad Noor-e-Alam, Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Administration) Palash Kanti Nath, Ramganj Upazila Parishad Chairman Monir Hossain Chowdhury, District Aoami League former President M Alauddin and Laxmipur Press Club President Hossain Ahmed Helal were special guests.
It is known from the budget statement that the budget of Laxmipur municipality has been fixed in the financial year 2022-23. Out of this, 34 crore 98 lakh 50 thousand rupees have been caught in the revenue sector.
Laxmipur Municipality Metor Mozammel Hadar Masum Bhui Budget Sama said, "I can't take the initiative of the municipal building without own land. I am not able to set up a treatment plant and make housing for the cleaners of the city. I am not able to build a 5-acre land for this." That is why you have to get speed to do better work.
