The lawyers beat up 4 members of the same family in the attack on the premises of the Laxmipur Judge Court, which took place on Monday (August 8) around 10 am in the premises of the District and Datra Judge Court.
At the time of the attack, 8-10 colleagues including lawyer Saith Fakhrul Alam Nahid attacked the journalists and the lawyer Arifun Nabi Chowdhury Russell got angry with the journalists when he went to make an Esm video.
Those injured in the beating are Mohammad Ullah (60), his wife Afroza Begum (50), Meta Mahita Akhtar (22) and son Abbas Hossain (28).
They are residents of West Char Kalakopa village of Ramgati upazila. The court police rescued them and went to the courtroom.
Lawyer Nahid is the son of former member secretary of District Farmers Dal and Advisor of BNP Chatparason Saita Mohammad Shamchul Alam.
The injured have reportedly had a land dispute with the lawyer Nahid, who came to appear in court in connection with the incident of Nahid, who had already prepared for the attack, which was planned by the lawyers.
Accused lawyer Fakhrul Alam Nahid said, I don't know anything.
Laxmipur Lawyers Association President Nurul Huda Patawer said, "I am not aware of the poison. I am looking for it."
The officer in charge of Sadar police station said that the police have been sent to the venue, and action will be taken.
Incidentally, on June 11, in the evening of the land dispute in Char Kalakopa village, the opponents injured lawyer Nahid in Elopatai Kupi. He later filed the case.
