Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated a total of 27 projects under 3 ministries in Laxmipur, with virtually connected project infrastructure from Ganobhaban on Tuesday (November 14) morning. The Prime Minister laid the foundation stone and inaugurated the project. Among the projects, the 19 government primary school buildings in the district, 1 TNC, 2 colleges, 3 madrasas and 1 secondary school building, were also inaugurated by the Dhaka-Lakshmipur sea route, which has been launched by the Meghna river dredging project of the 5th-phase 34 families.
District Commissioner Suraita Jahan was also present in the event, District Superintendent of Police Tarek Bin Rashid, District Council Chairman Md. Shahjahan, Civil Surgeon Dr. Ahmed Kabir, Additional Deputy Commissioner Meher Nigar, Additional District Magistrate Pritananka Dutta, Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman AKM Salah Uddin Tipu, Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Arifur Rahman and other officials of the concerned office.
